Note that virtual keys are not always at the same place. For example, Q is next to the Tab key on US keyboard but next to the Caps Lock on French keyboard. You can click on each keyboard layout to find out how it defines the mapping.
Please note current limitations of the algorithm:
- There might be multiple ways to type a letter, e.g. A can often be typed using Shift or the Caps Lock key. If the above suggestion does not work, try different ways of typing the same text, or check the virtual keys to get a hint which way was the suggestion intended.
- Conversely, if one keyboard could only use Shift to type A and the other one Caps Lock only, it would be deemed that there is no equivalent text between these two.
